What's your refund policy?

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund after the seat is confirmed. However, we will be happy to assess each request based on a case-to-case basis. Reason is that once we have reserved the seat for you, we have to reject other students. If you are able to inform us 21 days prior to the commencement of the course, we will be able to postpone your course to a later date, subjected to availability.


Is the 6-day course similar to the ones conducted by Yamato Ramen School in Japan?

Yes, the 6-day course is the same as those conducted in Japan. The only difference is that the course is conducted in English and the management classes are catered for markets outside Japan since the dynamics of the ramen business are different.

Who are the instructors in Singapore?

1. Mr Kaoru Fujii, Principal of Yamato Noodle School. Mr Fujii will be having a Q&A session which allows the students to ask any questions which may help them in the succeeding the the ramen business. 2. Jason Lim, Head Instructor of Yamato Noodle School (Singapore Branch). Jason has been in the ramen business since 2006. He graduated from Yamato Noodle School in Japan in 2006 and runs his own ramen shop since then. He also teaches in Vancouver, Paris, Germany and Japan. Jason has helped to set up many ramen shops around the world.

Is this course conducted by Yamato Noodle School?

Yes, this course is conducted by Yamato Noodle School and the certificate is issued by the School.

What are the class timings like?

We start at 9am sharp daily and ends at about 6pm. For the 6th day where we will be doing the restaurant training, the starting time is 11am and ends by 5pm.

How many classes are there in a month?

There is only 1 class per month for the 6-day Course.

Should I sign up for the Japan class or the one in Singapore?

The class in Japan are conducted fully in Japanese. If you are unable to read and speak Japanese fluently, you will need to engage a certified translator at an additional fee. Generally, we will recommend foreign students to attend the Singapore school as the curriculum are designed for the global market.

Is lodging provided? If no, what are the options?

No, lodging is not provided. There are many short-term accomodation via AirBnb. Search 'Jalan Kuras Singapore' in AirBnB. There are also hotels nearby.

There are many more hotels. Google 'Hotels near Thomson Singapore'.

Are meals provided?

No, meals are not provided. The school is surrounded with affordable options. Average cost per meal is about SGD$5 per meal at the food court.
